Getting ready

I am nearly ready for my Senegalese adventure! Tonight I invested a lot of time in packing and getting everything sorted. My nerves have actually calmed since yesterday and I am finally starting to believe that I will be getting on an airplane on Sunday morning. My biggest fear so far concerns language and my inability to speak French, but I think it is time to brush up a bit and stop letting that slow me down. Right now I am trying to create a list of addresses for people at home. If you want me to try to send you a postcard, you should send me yours! I will have my laptop with me, so expect updates here and on Facebook. I am figuring that I will probably check my email a fair amount as well. Joseph's blogging and Facebooking has made me really antsy to get going, although now I can barely believe the day has already come!!!
